Why We Started Safi
For years, I searched for a collagen supplement I could actually take. As a practising Muslim, I refused to put anything in my body that I couldn't verify. And as someone who takes his health seriously, I refused to settle for something that couldn't prove its quality. What I kept finding was the same frustrating choice — Halal-certified products with vague sourcing and no real transparency, or premium science-backed collagen derived from pork or non-Halal slaughter. Never both. Never something I could stand behind completely. So I stopped looking and started building. SAFI is what I wish had existed when I was searching. It is made for every Muslim who has faced that same impossible choice between their faith and their health — because that choice should never have existed in the first place.
